Creator, writer and showrunner, Dominic Minghella has an exceptional reputation for making internationally successful drama. Starting his career as script editor and writer of Hamish Macbeth, he went on to create two hit TV series of his own – Doc Martin, now in its 11th season and a global format and Robin Hood, the top selling drama internationally for BBC Worldwide.
Through his company, Island Pictures, Dominic produced Charles Sturridge’s feature film adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s The Scapegoat.
Dominic’s most recent project has been show-running the new 10-part drama Knightfall for A&E Studios and the History Channel in the US. In a candid In Conversation, Dominic is interviewed by former colleague Neil Peplow.
