Amanda Barclay is a network executive for YouTube Originals covering scripted development and current programming for the YouTube Premium platform. In her current role, Barclay focuses on the development of new series/features as well as maintaining day-to-day oversight of current productions. Since joining the platform in 2015, she has shepherded the development of several series including Dallas & Robo, Good Game, and Youth & Consequences in addition to the upcoming Wayne and Champaign Ill. Prior to YouTube/Google she was at MTV for three years supporting the scripted and unscripted development teams as Executive Assistant to the President of Programming.
Barclay is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where she received a Bachelor of business Administration. Originally from Houston, she is now based in Los Angeles where she resides with her husband, Sean Barclay.
