CHRIS CHOW CREATIVE LAWYERS
Chris Chow is Managing Director of Chris Chow Creative Lawyers, a law firm that specialises in advising clients on contractual, commercial, intellectual property and immigration (entertainment visas) matters in the entertainment and creative industries. Chris also sits on a sub-committee of the Communications and Media Law Association, regularly presents on entertainment and intellectual property matters and also donates his time as a pro-bono lawyer with the Arts Law Centre of Australia.
Chris has significant experience working across a range of entertainment and creative industries in connection with chain of title matters, the protection of intellectual property and contractual negotiations & enforcement on behalf of talent, production companies and larger organisations. Of note is Chris’ work on matters relating to: the feature films ‘Rise’ and ‘Rough Stuff’; negotiation of agreements for various high-profile talent appearing on Australian networks; legal assistance provided to ‘Bondi Hipsters’, Morrissey Management and international-sensation ‘5SOS’; and his work for Create NSW. Chris is passionate about the entertainment and creative industries – the name of his firm says it all!
