James Manning has had a long and sometimes distinguished career working in the magazine industry, having written and edited a number of music publications in his native Melbourne, before starting the Australian edition of British “pop music bible” Smash Hits in 1984.
In 1999 he took over as publisher and editor of Mediaweek. The weekly magazine has expanded into the daily Mediaweek Morning Report, Mediaweek TV weekly on Sky News Business and over 500 Mediaweek podcasts.
