Jennie Hughes is currently Director, Screen Territory. Prior to this – Jennie worked in Cultural Training at SBS, where she was Chair of the Gender Equality Committee; CEO New York Film Academy, COO Screen Queensland (securing San Andreas and Unbroken to film in the state); Festival Director, Brisbane International Film Festival; Executive Director, Open Channel, Head of Programming Ovation Channel and Executive VP Macquarie Filmed Investments. She was Paramount Pictures licensing agent and Executive Producer of Gettin’ Square and Dirty Deeds. She is currently a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and former Board member of the Australian Film Institute and Central Coast Arts Centre. Jennie has also participated in industry reviews and panels was the Chair of the Investment Committee on the Australian Government’s Strategy Industry Leaders Group on Digital Content.
