Jo Chichester began her career in radio in the 90’s before moving to ABC TV in 2003. She has worked on a range of TV shows in arts, comedy and entertainment including Sunday Arts, Art Nation, Judith Lucy’s Spiritual Journey, and Kitchen Cabinet with Annabel Crabb. As Executive Producer in ABC TV Arts Jo has worked on The Book Show, At The Movies, Meet The Mavericks, along with a slate of short and long form documentaries including Stop Laughing This is Serious, Streets of Your Town, Stranded, Deception by Design, Outback Choir, ACCTA & Logie nominated BBC co-production Brilliant Creatures (which made the Grierson shortlist as Rebels from Oz), Mambo: Art Irritates Life and the feature films The Go-Betweens: Right Here and Spear. In 2018 Jo took up a role as Manager, Regional & Local where she oversees Gardening Australia, Back Roads, Landline and the newly commissioned two-part documentary series The Pool.
