Nara Wilson is a proud Wirangu, Kokatha and Larrakia woman based in Adelaide who works at the South Australian Film Corporation as the Associate Executive Development, Production, Attraction and Studios.
She completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts in Screen at Flinders University whilst also completing numerous AFTRS short courses to strengthen her role as a producer.
After completing her studies she worked as an Indigenous Producer being involved in many diverse short films, commercials, corporate videos and documentaries such as: Ringbalin – A 1/2hr documentary, iOS App and website about Aboriginal stories along the Murray River. She has also worked at Foxtel within the Music Channels as a Production Coordinator Trainee. Produced, Directed and Wrote 8 x 13 minute documentaries for NITV and produced a Television commercial for MOSH (Minimisation of Suicide Harm). Her passion lies and is focused on producing and developing Indigenous Australian film work around the country.
