CRAZYROSE

Nathan Ross is an award-winning American film producer and former talent agent.

Nathan’s latest project, which he executive produced, was Sharp Objects, an adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s debut fiction novel starring Amy Adams and was directed by his creative partner Jean-Marc Vallée. Before that he helped executive produce the hugely successful HBO series Big Little Lies. The series was nominated for 16 Emmys (winning in 8 categories) and 6 Golden Globes in 4 categories (winning in all 4 categories).  With much anticipation, a second season was shot in 2018 and will return on HBO next year.

Prior to that Nathan helped produce three highly acclaimed films in three years: Dallas Buyers Club (nominated for 6 Academy Awards), Wild and Demolition (winner of the “Headliners Audience Award” at the 2016 SXSW Film Festival).

Ross and Vallée formed a new finance and production company specialising in film, tv and documentaries in January 2018 called Crazyrose. Their next project will be a film telling the story of John Lennon & Yoko Ono for Universal Pictures.

Prior to producing, Ross was a motion picture literary agent at ICM in Los Angeles from 2003-2010, primarily representing directors and screenwriters for film. He was profiled by The Hollywood Reporter in November 2008 in their “Next Gen: 35 Under 35”, which recognises entertainment executives in their yearly issue.
