Nick Fordham is owner and Chief Executive Officer of The Fordham Company, one of Australia’s most respected and successful talent management companies.
He joined the business, established by his parents John and Veronica in the late 1970s, virtually from the time he left St Ignatius College, Riverview. For almost two decades, he has played a significant role in the company’s growth, leading to him becoming owner of the business in late 2014.
Nick’s drive and passion and his creative and strategic nous has driven The Fordham Company’s dynamic leadership across numerous media, sport and entertainment platforms. More recently, his initiatives have led to global television production success and ownership of sports television rights.
With Nick at the helm, The Fordham Company prides itself on being a hands-on, select and personally-driven agency catering to the many needs and challenges of its highprofile clients.
A master at the negotiating table, Nick Fordham has brokered numerous long-term client contracts, global feature film and documentary deals as well as groundbreaking television, radio, publishing and endorsement agreements.
One of his proudest achievements has been developing production and content creation and an exciting range of digital media executions.
One of his first plays in television production, in his roles as co-creator, producer and executive producer, was creating the television series Outback Wrangler and seeing it grow a global audience across Australia, NZ, Asia, the United States, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
With Nick Fordham in the driver’s seat, The Fordham Company also secured ownership of the free-to-air television and digital rights for NSW Rugby’s Intrust Super Shute Shield competition, the oldest rugby competition outside Britain, which is broadcast on 7TWO and 7Plus.
He also negotiated The Fordham Company taking a major stake in one of Australia’s fastest growing health food and digital companies Cranky Health with flagship product The Man Shake, which has transformed and turned the men’s weight loss industry on its head. A new Cranky Health product The Lady Shake will be launched in 2016.
