Nick has unique and very broad background in TV – as an indie producer and formerly as network executive in cable and free-to-air.
He is Managing Director and co-founder of CJZ, the biggest locally owned production company in Australasia which produces more than 20 primetime series every year. Its shows have won Logies, AACTAs, the Rose d’Or for both Go Back To Where You Came From and Gruen as well as an Emmy for Go Back….
A former radio producer and lapsed network lawyer, Nick’s past experience includes: General Manager (and sometime producer) at Artist Services (now ITV Studios Australia) and founding CEO of cable TV network the Comedy Channel. He set up his own indie prod co Jigsaw Entertainment in 1999.
Nick is a former President of the Screen Producers Association of Australia and looks after the fish tank at the CJZ Sydney office.
He’s currently working on a narrative comedy, a one hour drama series and planning a new series of Gruen for 2019.
