Paul McIntyre is a contributing editor for the Australian Financial Review. Until earlier this year he was Editor At Large for Multi Channel Network, a joint venture between Network Ten, Foxtel and Fox Sports.
He’s been a journalist and editor covering media, marketing, tech and advertising for 25 years in Australia and abroad for titles including The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The New Zealand Herald, Advertising Age (US), PR Week (US), AdNews and B&T.
This year he’s been involved heavily with the ACCC’s inquiry into Digital Platforms and the impact Big Tech is having on local media and content economics. Paul has a keen interest in the future of local creative industries – film and TV production, journalism and the broader supply chain across related professions – as global tech duopolies and oligopolies continue to their profound impact on content and media in local markets.
