Richard’s only option was working in the media. Since starting his career in brown Fletcher Jones slacks in 1989, he has worked in roles from rural journalist on the Cooma Monaro Express to Director of Television at the ABC, where a suit is required and a tie still preferred. In between he has built and sold a PR business, started and sold The Weather Channel, run programme acquisitions for XYZ and was COO of SBS. Today he has joined the ranks of independent production, starting Headland Media Group, and has a dream to take Australian creative talent to the world. He occasionally wears shoes.
