As a writer/producer most of the time Tom ‘makes things up and puts them on paper’. He is excited about what the future holds for storytelling. Whether it’s on Film, TV, Web, VR, AR and everything in between.
In late 2016 Tom worked with Jumpgate VR on a 7-Part Narrative Virtual Reality series for the Adelaide Strikers, ‘The Next Striker’. The first of its kind in Australia.
He wrote and produced ‘Lucy and D.i.C’ which played opening night at the 2017 Adelaide Film Festival and has ticked over 1.5 million views online. Featuring famous Youtube comedian ‘Ozzy Man Reviews’ as a foul mouthed robot. The film later went on to win Best Comedy at the 2018 SASAs.
In December 2017 he shot ‘The Way’, a short film/proof of concept that has been funded through the SAFC.
Last year Tom Co-Founded ‘We Made A Thing Studios’, as a brand to develop projects that are high concept, low budget and have global/multi-platform appeal. With Lucy and DiC and The Way, two projects that are a part of this slate.
